About me

“Therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be heard, understood and supported.”
— Bessek Van Der Kolk

Hello, I am Dee, an Integrative Relational Counsellor with a deep passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges. Over the years, I have witnessed how transformative counselling can be and am dedicated to supporting individuals in unlocking their potential.

I bring experience from both NHS settings and private practice, where I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients. My journey has been shaped by a genuine commitment to helping others explore and overcome the difficulties they face, finding paths to growth and balance.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 20 years as a teacher, which gave me valuable insight into the pressures of working in demanding environments and the struggles of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This experience informs my compassionate and client-centred approach to counselling.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical standards, ensuring a safe and supportive space for you to focus on your emotional well-being and personal growth. Together, we can work towards building resilience and thriving in your life.
